I am delighted to invite you to the 2nd International Video Workshop on radical surgery in gynaecological oncology, endorsed by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) and European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), which will be held in Prague, from April 8 to April 10, 2010.

Based on the very positive feedback from the first edition in 2008, the same format of the meeting focused on video presentations will be kept.
A special attention will be dedicated to standardization of common regional procedures.
The main aim is to focus on manual skills, new techniques in surgery, and demonstrations of practical tips and recommendations. In other words, the topic  is not why or when to do procedures, but how to do it best and safely. Open, endoscopic and robotic procedures will be presented and discussed.

An excellent faculty of leading surgeons from Europe,  the USA and Japan guarantees a high level of scientific expertise for the meeting. However, major contributions should come in the exchange of ideas and discussion of experiences in a broad forum of participating experts in the field.

We would like to stimulate all surgeons working in the field of gynaecological oncology to share their experiences, and participate actively. Even small tricks in how to improve procedure or avoid complications might prove to be valuable to other colleagues.
